Upcycling

	This is nothing to do with Bristol as a hilly cycle city and it's even greener than re-cycling!  UPCYCLING is an activity that is gaining popularity in these tough economic times. We all have cupboards or even garages full of all those 'must haves' that have succumbed the preverbal built-in "designed obsolescence". Now's the time to liberate them!
Take those once loved items and turn them into something of value again. There are a host of examples on websites which will give you inspiration and instructions from an old school bus which was turned into a bus stop shelter, to a cats bed made from old suitcases and even a light switch cover made out of a beer can!
	Upcycling is the redwire running through all of the categories at the WOTFS, which, in 2010 received over 500 entries for all classes. Split into 94 Competition Classes there is truly something there for every age group and ability. Take a look at the 2011 Classes pages and  make 2011 the year that you entered into the show!
